UPSC CDS Final Result Released 2020- Union public service commission recently declared the final result of combined defense service examination 2 conducted in Nov 2020. The selected 129 candidates appeared for SSB interview held by the Services Selection Board of Defence for admission to the 151 (DE) Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun; Indian Naval Academy, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad Training Course i.e. No.210F(P) Course. UPSC CDS Training Period-
- The candidates admitted to the Indian Military Academy/ Indian Navy Academy / Air Force Academy will be trained in their respective academies for a period of 18 months.
- The candidates admitted to Officers’ Training Academy will have a training period of 49 weeks.
- The Army Officers and the equivalent post officers in the Navy and Air Force are eligible to get a Fixed Stipend of Rs 56,100 per month, which is the starting pay in Level 10.
UPSC CDS Promotion Policy-
- Upon coUpon completion of six years of commissioned service, a major is awarded
- Upon completion of 13 years of commissioned service, Lieutenant Colonel.
- After completing two years of commissioned service, a captain is appointed.
